Documents Required when Selling a Vehicle You Own Outright

  • Minnesota Title 
  • Bill of Sale 
  • Odometer Disclosure 
  • Report of Sale

    • If You Are Selling a Financed Vehicle, You Will Also Need: 

  • Lien Release 
  • Signed and released title

    • Junking Your Car? You’ll Need: 

  • Title or Salvage Title 
  • Junk Receipt

    • Special Circumstances and Forms 

  • Power of Attorney (Form PS2003) 
  • Duplicate Title Application (Form PS2067)
